The original Joe Nichols... wandering philosopher, poet, songwriter, artisan, etc. This Berkeley Springs, West Virginia native has been writing and performing his unique style of music for over 30 years. Nichols blends indigenous rock, blues, and folk with exotic forms of Eastern and world music. His formal compositions and lengthy improvisations are the result of a lifetime spent on the road and on the streets (with and without a guitar). Now, after the smoke has cleared, we are finally able to properly present the music of Roadie Joe to a new generation. This strange music speaks from the soul of an artist, one who has suffered for the purpose of enlightenment. This music is the gift he found and now shares.  

Be warned: this is Eastern-tinged psychedelic progressive folk music from the hills of West Virginia; no relation to the Nashville star of the same name. This artist has spent a lifetime on the road.
